Can I Do Yoga Teacher Training Even If I Don't Want to Teach?Yes, you can absolutely do yoga teacher training even if you don't plan to teach. Many people undertake yoga teacher training for various personal reasons beyond teaching.

Are books and materials included in the price of the training?The manual will be including on the price but the recomended books are not included in the tuition.

When will I find out if I have been accepted into the program?Upon receipt of your application and deposit, you will be contacted within 1 week to let you know if you are officially accepted.

How much time is required for homework and other outside activities?Homework typically takes 2 hours a week.

Will I be a certified yoga teacher?There is no such thing as a “certified yoga teacher”. There is a national organization called the Yoga Alliance which “registers” teachers. You will be able to register with the Yoga Alliance after receiving your certificate of completion.

Will I be able to teach after completing Teacher Training?Yes. By successfully completing all of the requirements for Evolve Yogi’s Teacher Training Program you will receive your certificate of completion at the 200-Hour Level. You may also register with the Yoga Alliance as a RYT-200

Will there be written and practical exams at the end of the course?Yes. It would be best if you were compelled to meet the assessment criteria to pass the YTTC. You’ll be assessed on each of the modules. Assessments area unit each written and sensible. Our lecturers can offer details of what’s expected throughout the first week. You’ll have much steering and support throughout the course.

How many students are going to be there in each course?Our courses must remain intimate. Therefore, each course is limited to 16 students.

How many years of experience do I need to join the Yoga TTC course?The Yoga Teacher Training course is suitable for everyone as we are committed to teaching you from the root to all the aspects of Yoga, so the experience is unnecessary.

What will I be studying in the 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training course?In 200 hour Evolve Yoga Teacher Training in course, you will learn: Hatha Yoga Vinyasa Yoga Yoga Philosophy Anatomy & Physiology Yoga Sutras Asanas Meditation Alignment Use of props How to avoid injuries Teaching Methodology Class Management Class Arrangement Business & Ethics Introduction to some Recovery techniques like cold exposure, myofascial release and others Introduction to Wheel & Chair Yoga

What is expected from students while they are here?Apart from an open mind and desire to learn, we have a few more expectations when participating in our teacher training course. Applicants should have a good general fitness level to get the most from our courses, so please come healthy and in good shape! 100% attendance to all classes during the course is mandatory; otherwise, you will not gain full benefit. A minimum contact hour requirement is required to qualify for your certificate under the Yoga Alliance guidelines. We understand that the courses are intense, so please communicate with us if you have any problems.

What should I bring?If you’ve never been on a retreat before you might be unsure of what you do need Your passport is valid, with at least 6 months after your return date You’ve got the appropriate visa, or know that you can fill out a visa-on-arrival card on the plane Be sure that your credit or debit card(s) will work in your destination Your travel insurance will cover you for cancellations, theft, and medical expenses in your destination country Swimsuit / Sunscreen / Sunglasses / Sunhat / Flip Flops Water Bottle Notebook and Pen Insect repellent Headphone Training shoes / Training Apparel Bring comfortable clothing for yoga sessions and we recommend you bring a long sleeves/pants for morning meditation White casual outfit for last dinner Book / Facial Mask (Things for unwinding ) Covered shoulders & knees for a temple visit Toiletries A plug socket adaptor Healthy Snacks – protein bars, dried fruit and nuts are always good to have in your bag for those moments when you need a little boost For most of all our retreats, yoga mats/props/blankets etc. will be provided but feel free to bring your own Yoga Mat. Do I need to bring extra cash? Your retreat package covers everything including food, and any scheduled day trip. Most guests find they spend almost nothing during the retreat. There are however opportunities to visit nearby places. so some extra cash could come handy. Each venue also as an onsite masseuse where you can book treatments at additional cost.
