About
Do you want to become a yoga instructor but have a full-time job and family obligations, you may be hesitant to enrol in an intensive program. That's why we've developed a 200-hour course that spans eight weeks, allowing you to balance your responsibilities while still pursuing your goal. The program will be in-person sessions on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. It also requires some self study and one module online.
This comprehensive 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training program is designed to equip aspiring teachers with a thorough understanding of Hatha and Vinyasa yoga styles. The program offers a holistic approach that goes beyond basic instruction to ensure students become confident, knowledgeable, and adaptable yoga instructors.
In the Hatha segment, we delve deeply into the foundational asanas, emphasizing the human anatomy, alignment, benefits, and contraindications of each posture. This thorough breakdown empowers our students to comprehend the intricate details of each pose, ensuring a safe and effective practice for their future students.
Our Vinyasa component emphasizes the art of sequencing asanas. We prioritize the significance of crafting sequences tailored to diverse student needs and various teaching environments. By honing this skill, our students gain the capability to construct classes that flow seamlessly, promoting a balanced and inclusive experience for practitioners at any level.
Our program stands out by emphasizing practical application from the outset. We believe in learning through experience, so students are encouraged to put their knowledge into practice right from the initial stages of the training. This hands-on approach nurtures confidence and expertise, enabling our teachers-in-training to effectively lead classes with assurance and poise.
Additionally, our curriculum extends beyond the Hatha and Vinyasa styles. Students will have the opportunity to explore additional yoga disciplines such as Sound Healing, Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Restorative Yoga. This exposure to diverse yoga practices enriches their understanding and allows for a broader perspective when teaching.
Our commitment is to empower our students with the necessary tools to navigate the challenges of guiding a yoga class confidently. We foster an environment where knowledge, practical experience, and adaptability intersect, ensuring our graduates are well-prepared to lead classes with expertise, security, and a profound understanding of yoga.
